This hotel is ideally situated. We've stayed in the centre of Madrid before and it can be so noisy as it's a 24 HR city. We chose here as our family live nearby for an event but it turned out to be perfect to see Madrid. It is just across from line 1 Puerto de Vallecas which goes through to Gran Via in the centre and the number 10 bus goes straight to Retiro from outside. (Prado Atocha stop). Bakery right next door and a shop across the road. Went to El Escorial from here which you cannot miss. (One stop to Pacifico - change to line 6 - get off at Moncloa and get the 664 bus at Moncloa bus station. Buses really regular - even on a Sunday. Coming back from there most buses return to Moncloa and they're still regular. )Beautiful journey through northern Madrid and the palace and Basilica etc...chefs kiss beautiful. The hotel was perfect and we'd stay there again in a heartbeat. We were upgraded to a superior room which was huge. Fantastic WiFi connection (number on your check in card) you can pair your phone to access Netflix/YouTube etc.. mini bar if you want. Nespresso machine gratis for tea and coffee. Free toiletries in shower and usual toothbrush shower cap etc.. The staff were the icing on the cake. The reception staff were lovely and so friendly. (If you've ever stayed in Madrid this is not always the case!) Nothing was too much trouble and although we had a late afternoon flight they offered to keep our bags after check out. The cleaning staff were quiet if you wanted to sleep in and the room was spotless. Bath as well as shower! Air con was piped in our room rather than the standard unit. Perfect for us as it was set correctly and not noisy so you could sleep through it and it was gentle so didn't make you cold or wake you up. Bed was huge!! and comfy. Robes and slippers supplied. Big built on wardrobe. Safe to use on request. We would use this hotel again in a heartbeat. The staff were stand out for Madrid as a whole.

The breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of dishes to cater to different tastes, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. The restaurant itself was well-maintained, with a pleasant ambiance that enhanced the dining experience. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable environment. It also came equipped with convenient coffee and tea-making facilities, adding a thoughtful touch for guests who enjoy their morning or evening beverages in the privacy of their room.

We only saw one member of staff, as we checked in after 8PM. The room we had was large, very clean and comfortable for our requirements as we only stayed for one night. There was coffee making facilities, which we didn't use, We didn't require breakfast, as we left very early the next morning. Location was ideal for our needs, close to family and less than 2 minutes from the station, it is even ideal as a budget hotel further from the center.

The location was excellent. So near to the Metro station, which is only 3 stops away from Atocha (the main rail) station and 8 stops away from the main shopping street in Madrid city. There is a Panaria just next door, for times when you don’t wish to take the hotel’s buffet breakfast. 2 large supermarkets nearby. I actually chose this hotel because it is only a few minutes walk to the only SSPX chapel in Madrid.

Diane

Very good hotel located on the outskirts of the city center. There is a metro station just around the corner that makes traveling around super easy. Clean and spacious room with huge and comfy bed. Varied and tasty breakfast. AC is quiet. In our room there was a tea/coffee making set (kettle+nespresso). Friendly and helpful staff. We ask for additional blanket and were quickly provided with one.
